ACHA 2022 Nationals

Dates & Logo released for National Championships.

TROY, Mich. – (August 30, 2021) – The American Collegiate Hockey Association, the governing body for non-varsity collegiate hockey in the United States, has announced the dates for the upcoming 2022 ACHA National Championships in St. Louis, Mo.  In addition, the official logo for the event was released by the ACHA as well.

The 2022 ACHA National Championships will be played from March 10 through March 20, 2022 at the Centene Community Ice Arena in Maryland Heights, Mo., with overflow games and practices at the Maryville University Hockey Center in nearby Chesterfield, Mo.

20 Men’s Division 1 teams and 16 Men’s Division 3 teams will compete for their respective National Championship beginning on Thursday, March 10, 2022 and culminating in the National Championship game for both divisions on Tuesday, March 15, 2022.

Men’s Division 2 gets underway on Monday, March 14, 2022, with 16 teams in the field, and the National Champion will be crowned on Friday, March 18, 2022.

10 teams from Women’s Division 1 will start their quest for the National Championship on Wednesday, March 16, 2022, with the National Champion being determined on Sunday, March 20, 2022.

Finally, 16 teams will compete for the Women’s Division 2 National Championship between Tuesday, March 15, 2022 and Saturday, March 19, 2022.

The 2022 ACHA National Championships will see more than 1,500 players from 78 teams across all five ACHA divisions competing in St. Louis for 113 games over 10 days.

The Centene Community Ice Center, which opened in September 2019, is the practice facility for the NHL St. Louis Blues as well as the home of Lindenwood University’s hockey programs.  The ten-day 2022 ACHA National Championships will be hosted by the St. Louis Sports Commission and the 2019 NHL Stanley Cup champion St. Louis Blues.

All games from the 2022 ACHA National Championships will be broadcast online by the ACHA’s broadcast partner HockeyTV, a service of HockeyTech, the worldwide leader in hockey related technology, analytics, video and information services.  Additional information regarding the 2022 ACHA National Championships, including preferred hotels, travel partners, and ticketing will be released by the ACHA at a later date.
